Berkshire Engagement Photographer

Congratulations on your engagement!

What an exciting time in your lives. I remember that moment when my husband proposed, I actually cried happy tears!

Engagement photoshoots offer a great way to connect with your photographer and get comfortable in front of the camera ready for your wedding day. We build rapport and get to know each other more, this is key to feeling relaxed.

We can choose a location that you both enjoy spending time at or somewhere that inspires you.  Or the spot where your partner proposed!

The shoot will give you lots of gorgeous images which can be printed and displayed in your home, given as gifts to your family, featured on your save the dates or invitations, on your own wedding website, used as wedding decor or in a signing book/frame which is a modern alternative to the traditional guest book.

I also offer  post wedding photo sessions, ideal if you’re adventurous and want to go to the beach, mountains or the city in your wedding outfits. A shoot after the big day will allow for more time.

What’s included?

My engagement sessions are 45 minutes long and include travel (within a 20-mile radius of Newbury, Berkshire), all the best images taken (approx. 20 high-resolution digital jpeg images), editing, and an on-line gallery (password protected) for you to view, download and share with your family and friends.

When’s the ideal time to book my shoot?

As soon as possible really and at least 9-12 months prior to your wedding, perhaps earlier if you’d like to feature the images on your save the date cards. So it’s a good idea to start the hunt for your perfect photographer as soon as you’ve booked your wedding venue.

What should I wear?!

A question we ask ourselves daily!  Whatever you decide, I would go with something you feel confident and comfortable in.   Try to avoid patterned prints and logo’s as this can take the eye away from the subject.  Neutral tones work well in a natural environment, like the park or woods.

Where should we have our shoot?
Is there a place that has special meaning to you? A park or woods you always go on to a Sunday walk for example. Or perhaps that special location where your partner proposed.

One of my favourite locations in Berkshire is Virginia Water with acre upon acre of beautiful landscapes and lakes. Permission is required from the Royal parks to photograph here but they are very accommodating.

The photos are amazing and she captured our day perfectly

I first met Annabel at a wedding fayre in Newbury. She was polite, warm and engaging. Her photos looked amazing and I knew I had to book her- I took my (now) husband to meet her for a coffee where we chatted and looked through some previous photos Annabel had taken. He was just as keen as I was so we booked her immediately. We had an engagement shoot local to us a few months before the wedding which was fantastic as it gave us a chance to get to know Annabel properly before the day and feel slightly more relaxed infront of the camera. The pictures were fantastic and we were now even more excited to see the wedding ones. Annabel was in touch from the moment of booking up until the day and nothing was too much trouble- she was there to answer any questions we had, however silly they seemed to us. She arrived exactly when she said she would on the day, took every photo we asked for and so many more. The photos are amazing and she captured our day perfectly. We have such fond memories of the day and can’t wait to print some pictures to go round the house so we can look at them all the time. We cannot thank you enough!
