My love affair with photography started when I was very young, my parents had a box full of old family photos. These curling, treasured images held memories. Some were taken by my grandad on his old Brownie. They showed me people and places that I’d never know or would never meet again. And every now and again, I'd escape to be with these people and step right into the past. That’s what makes photography so special. It’s a way of creating memories that you’ll have for the rest of your life. Memories are precious, special moments that slip through our hands all too easily. Being able to capture them before they’re lost is why I’m a photographer.
If I put my super practical hat on I can easily provide you with a list of the skills that led me to photography. In C.V. speak; I’m a highly motivated individual who’s as happy working with others as I am alone. But as I’m a photographer, I don't have to do any more. So, instead I’ll say that I’m, quite simply, a people person. I'm very interested in people. I'm also highly visual, always ‘looking’. Taking in what’s around me from surroundings to emotions and little details. It’s fair to say that not much escapes my eye!
I’m a romantic. I believe wholeheartedly in love and I think that celebrating family and love is simply one of the best things in life. Being part of these celebrations could never be considered work. It’s a joy and a privilege. I’ve found that thing and truly believe it’s my vocation.
I've been lucky enough to enjoy this vocation for over 5 years, so you are in good hands. I am a full time photographer.
My style is artistic, natural and romantic. I work with the seasons, carpets of bluebells and summer meadows make the perfect backdrops.
My work has been published on the front page of wedding magazines and featured in wedding blogs. I have also received a highly commended accolade by the SWPP (Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers) and was a VIP Guest of Canon Cameras at London Fashion Weekend at the Saatchi Gallery.
